Adrienne Glasser LCSW RDMT, is the founder and director of services at Present Moment, a mindfulness-integrated psychotherapy practice that also provides mindfulness/stress reduction education and instruction in schools, non-profits and corporate settings. She is a licensed certified social worker, movement therapist and meditation teacher. Adrienne has been treating addictions, eating disorders and trauma for over 15 years by encouraging clients to bring compassion to assist their healing. She is on faculty at the institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy FACTS Program where she teaches Introduction to Internal Family Systems and Mindfulness with Couples. She enjoys helping others to find their intuitive path towards transformation.
Shannon Bradley, ATR-BC, LCAT, Psychotherapist
Shannon Bradley, ATR-BC, LCAT is a licensed creative arts therapist who received her Masters Degree from Pratt Institute. Shannon is an eating disorder and addiction specialist at Present Moment. Her use of mindfulness practices and the creative process support clients in finding greater awareness and self-acceptance, as well as more meaningful, authentic connections with others. Her belief is that each of us has the capacity to be creative and thus to create a life that is more fully in alignment with our true self. Her theoretical perspective is holistic; formed by the belief that past/present/future and mind/body/spirit are inextricably linked. Shannon also specializes in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, mental, and medical illness.
Ines Guariguata, LCSW, LCAT, ATR-BC, SEP, Psychotherapist
Ines has been a practicing psychotherapist for over 15 years in the NYC area. Ines joins Present Moment with extensive experience working with survivors of childhood trauma, as well as people suffering from depression and anxiety, chronic illness, compulsive behaviors, addiction, parenting stress, immigration and identity-based oppression or stressors. Ines integrates psychodynamic psychotherapy with body-centered and experiential modalities. These include Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, art therapy, polarity (a bodywork practice) and Mindfulness. Ines is an approved personal session provider and assistant for Somatic Experiencing trainings in NYC. Fluent in Spanish, she welcomes work with all ages, gender identities, sexual orientations, ethnic, religious and socio-economic backgrounds. Ines also provides therapeutic affirming services to the Queer/LGBT community in the NYC.
Lily Leiber, MPS, ATR-BC, LCAT, Psychotherapist
Lily Leiber is a Licensed Psychotherapist and family therapist with Present Moment Psychotherapy. Lily is able to address issues such as addiction, food issues, anxiety, depression, life stressors, relationships, and ADHD. In her work with adults she primarily utilizes talk therapy whereas in her work with children and adolescents, Lily frequently incorporates art as it can provide a non-threatening, creative way to build upon coping skills and communicate. Lily incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Object Relations Based Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Art Therapy, and other evidenced-based modalities. Lily receives great satisfaction helping adults, adolescents, children, and families resolve issues so that they can experience more joy, meaning, and fulfillment in their lives.
Liah Rozenman, MA, RDT, LCAT, Psychotherapist
Liah Rozenman is a Licensed Psychotherapist and Creative Arts Therapist with Present Moment Psychotherapy. She has worked in varied settings helping individuals with eating disorders and body image issues, adults and young adults with anxiety, complex PTSD, depression and individuals with disabilities. In addition to mindfulness, Liah incorporates drama therapy techniques such as the use of imagination; role-play, storytelling, and art making practices into the healing process to assist individuals reach their therapeutic goals. Liah believes in the healing power of spontaneity, self-expression, and creativity to foster mind body integration and overall wellness.
Christine Vargo, LCSW
Christine (Chris) Vargo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Gestalt Therapist with Present Moment Psychotherapy. Chris works with clients with a range of experiences, including trauma, compulsive behaviors, anxiety, depression, anger, relationship issues, perfectionism, personality disorders, and schizophrenia. Chris supports her clients in finding a greater awareness of their strengths and inner wisdom primarily through the present centered, experiential approach of Gestalt Therapy. Chris offers a non-judgmental, open, and empathic environment with a goal of creating a safe and relational experience with her clients. Chris works with a belief that her role is not to “fix” her clients, but to support them in creating shifts in their lives from a place of choice and awareness. Chris works with individuals and couples of all ages, gender identities, sexual orientations, socio-economic, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. Chris has worked in various settings and capacities for more than 15 years, with several non-profit organizations in NYC and Washington, DC. With experience in administration and as a clinician, Chris brings a range of skills to her work including, management, public speaking, and group work. Chris is honored to support and bear witness to the life experiences, strengths and vulnerability her clients brings to their work.
Sydney Faith Rose, Holistic Health Coach, Meditation & Yoga Instructor, Outreach Specialist
Sydney Faith Rose is a licensed Holistic Health Coach, certified through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She is also a certified yoga teacher and meditation teacher trained by The Interdependence Project, Laughing Lotus Yoga Center, Yoga Vida and The Lineage Project. She utilizes mindfulness, motivational interviewing and stages of behavioral change in her approach to working one-on-one and in groups with coaching clients struggling with body image, substance abuse and addictions, depression and anxiety.
Present Moment Psychotherapy and Coaching is honored to also have Sydney as our outreach representative. She is innovative in the ways she connects people with the resources they need in the various communities that we serve.
Over the past 9 years, she’s been teaching meditation and developing wellness initiatives and mindfulness programming for small non-profits, community organizations, therapeutic environments, and in the corporate world. Sydney’s passion is empowering women who are struggling with addiction, depression and anxiety to get in touch with their moment-to-moment needs and emotions, feel calmer, speak more kindly to themselves and develop personalized self care plans that allow them to experience greater ease in their bodies and the world.
